At my glucose tolerance appointment they pricked my finger to test my iron level and told me my results immediately. Since they were a little low they put me on an iron supplement and I do feel more energetic when I take it. It upsets my tummy a little and gives me looser stool (which I much prefer to constipation!). Also my poo is black too. Having anemia is a good excuse to get my husband to do stuff for me. It's kind of a joke around our house now.
