good morning ladies

well i am not a happy camper this morning, last night i really really thought it was going to be "the night" at about 9pm starting getting twinges like BH by 9:45 they were getting pretty painful (nothing too bad but more than just uncomfortable) so told OH i was going to have 2 paracetamol and try and get an hours sleep before things really got going. at about 10:15 still hadnt got to sleep and asked OH to start running me a bath by the time the bath was ready i was nearly asleep so decided not to bother with it, woke up 3 hours later with............................................................NOTHING!!!!!

not even so much as a bloody twinge. infact i have never felt better not even my hips are hurting this morning

STOP TEASING ME LITTLE MAN I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO READY FOR YOU TO MAKE YOUR GRAND ENTRANCE!!!!

well its now 11 o clock and still nothing whatever it was last night i think has well and truely stopped now i have just chopped up 2 pineapples and i think i will enjoy them after my lunch see if it kicks things off again x

all yesterday i could hardly walk as it felt like his head was actually in my knickers

then with this starting at night i got really excited so i am gutted it just stopped like that

but at least i know my body is doing something to get ready so hopefully it wont be long now

You poor thing! They're SUCH teases aren't they? Just get lots of rest today if you can (sleeping makes everything go quicker) and conserve energy for when it really does kick off. Hope it's soon for you!

ahhh exact same thing happened to me last weekend started getting mild contractions... had one 9:40pm - 10pm -10:20 - 10:40... they were regular so i thought yes this is it ill go to bed and ill prob be woken up with strong pains later - woke up fresh as a daisy i the morning with NOTHING!. gutted. had nothing since.
due date tomorro and sweep on monday. hope this little girl makes appearance soon. x

I feel for you!! I had a sweep yesterday and started bleeding the moment it was done. Like I was having my period and it went on for 6+ hours. I also have had major bloody show going on and it still is but also I had cramps and lower back pain right after the sweep. I had contractions all day and they were really painful so I went to walk to get them going and it seemed to have worked because they got stronger and were coming every 10 mins then I got back home and thought I needed to try and get some rest and they stopped!! I still have bloody show going on, I'm still cramping and having contractions but only have had 2 in the past hour. I am gutted as well because I really though that I would be in the hospital by now in active labor because of being 3-4 cm dilated, 100% effaced, cervix has moved forward and baby is sitting at a +1. I can't understand why my body won't let this baby out!! Sorry this is long and I really hope that you go into labor really soon!!

It is so frustrating

i've had false labour since monday so i've given up on thinking this is it when I get pain now lol. This morning OH thought i'd gone crazy because he walked in on me talking to the bump

I meant to tell to this morning, remember what my MW said about hips suddenly getting better just before labour due to change in oestrogen levels. I still think it's the start of something.
