Although I'm not due until April 13th, I'm scheduled for induction next Friday...one week to go. It's kinda scary and exciting!

Hooray! You have a VBAC clinic? I haven't been offered anything like that. Any ideas what they'll do if you go over? I know I really don't want to be induced if possible.

How far are you managing every day? Hope your LO decides to make an appearance soon!
I'm not walking super far or even at a really brisk pace. There is a big hill next to my house so I actually drive past that and then walk around the neighborhood - probably a mile or so...not anything crazy. It was really hard the first day and I felt a lot of pressure on my pelvis, but now that I've been doing it for a few days it actually makes me feel a lot better and I can move around easier
That's encouraging, I went out today for about an hour around the shops. Maybe if I do the same for the next few days it'll get easier. Just means I have to do more shopping.

Anyone else OBSESSED with buying clothes for post-pregnancy? It's the only way I can guarantee I'll get back to a pre-preg weight - lots of pretty summer things to wear!

My due date is Tues and seeing midwife on Mon. I'm trying everything walking, eggplant, sex, saffron milk, bouncing on the ball, doing lots of housework ... but nothing except for some painful BH and losing some mucus plug I am hoping my mw will give me a sweep on monday but i'm really not sure what stage they offer a sweep in the uk, they haven't even checked if i'm dilated yet but OH checked and he thinks i'm 1.5cm this was a week ago

I actually bought two dresses for post pregnancy. I'm so looking forward to wearing all my dresses again. It gets ridiculously hot here so I live in sundresses and flip flops

I've been buying cute sandals to go along with the summer dresses I bought a couple years back for our honeymoon in Jamaica. I have all kinds of cute dresses so I figured buying the cute shoes would help motivate me to get into them

Yes I have to go to the clinic at the hospital so they can discuss course of action if LO decides not to put in an appearance by my due date. Midwife told me that they won't let you go too far over with vbac, only a week max. I'm hoping he comes before I need to be induced...

I have 8 days left I went to the doctor yesterday, still only 1cm 50% effaced so they wouldn't do an induction. I go back on Monday to see if there have been any changes.

I find this as well - that when I go for walks it actually feels better. It's uncomfortable to start with but I figure it's best to keep active.
