TMI Stomach/Bowel problems

First of all sorry for the tmi! Could just do with some input as my doctors wont be open until Monday now and to be honest I dont even think I need to see them, just wanted advice

I have had an upset stomach for the past week or so where I have had sudden stomach ache and the need to go to the toilet straight away. When I go it is always very loose/diarrhea and I sometimes need to go a couple of times during the day, the pain goes away and I feel much better once I have been. I am usually pretty regular and go every 2 days or so, so this is a big change for me. I thought it might be a bit of a stomach bug but I have had it over a week now and I dont think its my diet as I havent changed the way I am eating at all.

Im pretty sure Im being paranoid but I just keep thinking of all the women who say their bodies have a clear just before they give birth and as Im only 35 weeks Im scared! Ha!

Is anyone else experiencing anything similar? Please tell me Im not about to give birth! Im moving house at the weekend so little lady needs to stay in there at least another couple of weeks!!

I've had diarrhea throughout my entire third trimester...I've been panicking about "how am I supposed to know if i'm having a clear-out if I'm always clearing out??"

It's awful. I'd bring it up to your dr and see if they can test your blood and see if you're lacking in any nutrients. Beyond that, i'd say you're okay, and to just keep hydrated.

It could be a bit of a clear-out...but mine has been going on for three weeks now! It's like literally everything I eat upsets my tummy and within an hour I'm in the bathroom. I do think it's part of my body gearing up for labour, but it's definitely not been a signal of anything happening immediately.

Make sure you stay plenty hydrated and just mention it to your doctor next time.

Thanks ladies I know a lot of women get it and its probably completely normal but just needed that reassurance! That niggling thought of early labour and my body getting ready kept popping in my mind but glad to know others are experiencing the same (just the clear out thoughts not the awful stomach ache of course!)

Thank you!

I just turned 35 weeks and have the same thing. Maybe it's normal at this stage? I can't imagine going through this for weeks though. How uncomfortable!
