OH gets freaked out when my bump moves....

Not sure whether I find it funny or not

He said he doesn't mind the little kicks but when she starts wriggling about and you can feel limbs against my skin he gets all freaked out and pulls his hand away sharply! At 1st I thought it was hilarious & that he's get used to it but he still doesn't like it lol.
So, this means he doesn't put his hands on my bump that often & when he does, as soon as she does any big kicks or strong movements (which is all the time lol) he pulls his hand away.

Anyone else's OH do this??

With a plus-size bump and anterior placenta, I haven't quite gotten yet to where you can see severe distortions. However, I must admit that even I find it fairly freaky when I can see his little bum pressing outward or moving across. It is very strange-looking, especially if you're already squeamish about body functions and such.
OH is quite thin and has blood pressure issues, and often I can see his pulse in his neck, very clearly. That freaks me out, and I don't like touching him when I can strongly feel his pulse. So I can completely understand getting freaked out about the little alien creature moving about rapidly.

My OH really likes it, which is odd as he is usually squemish about bodily things lol, he never takes his hands off my bump now and is convinced she moves for him and shouts into her and reads to her to get her moving, he likes poking around (quite hard sometimes) to try to pick out body parts

My oh is somewhere in the middle lol.

he will always hug bump and stuff but usually whips his hand off when she rolls around then puts it back to wait for it happening again..

he also watched my stomach move but its more in a freaked out fasination way rather than adoringly! lol

He quite often pokes her back(gently of course) and tells her to stop kicking mummy... it never works! lol :P

We just look at my belly and laugh sometimes when he moves a lot and it is like a big ripple going across! It looks really weird and funny.

its me that gets freaked out . im so terrible with it . it makes me jump lol tho i love feeling my little guy move . the body part moving over my belly freaks me out lol

It freaks my husband out, he keeps on saying that it looks like the movie Alien with Sigourney Weaver lol. at the same time I know how much he adores this baby already and I know he is squeamish about these things so I find it hilarious.

my dh is kind of like this. He adores feeling her move and watching my belly but he can't leave his hand on there for too long when she's rolling around a lot because it weirds him out. haha. He likes her kicks and punches though. And she always moves for her daddy!

My OH was freaked with my first and is freaked with this one!!

He will occasionally feel the kicks for me, but I know he is not keen!

He's an amazing daddy though, so I let him off!!

It must be vey weird for them.
