Im SO frustrated with my body!!

So im 40+3 and yesterday i had a midwife appointment and was offered a sweep which i accepted. I was told my cervix was favourable very soft starting to efface and was a good 2cms dilated - she said she was able to give a good sweep of the membranes. That was at 3pm and at 5pm i started to get mild contractions every 20 mins until i went to bed at 11pm.... They didnt get closer together or stronger but i thought for sure i would be woken up during the night with strong contractions but NO woke up this morning with not even a slight twinge.

I had my DS 1 week early and that started with contractions, i feel like my body has done this before it should know what to do, why isnt it starting!!!

Im booked in for induction on April 14th but ill be 40+14days before they even start, i thought they would have at least started off a day of so before i hit the 2 weeks over coz i know sometimes it can take a while to get started.

Sorry this is more of a rant - from one very frustrated preg lady!. x

I started a thread similar to this, this morning. I'm 40+3 and scheduled for induction on the 12th April and I am proper fed up

I haven't had signs at all - few mild cramps and today I think I lost the tiniest bit of my plug but apart from that nada!

So frustrating isn't it xx

Yeah tell me about it - ive had no signs yet either, no plug loss or anything.. i get strong BH a couple time a day but not painful.

I have had a little dihorreah this morning which im hoping is a little sign but my tummy feels completly normal doesnt feel like anything is going to start any time soon.
