Soreness after intercourse (sorry if tmi)

Wondering if anyone else gets this. I'm suffering from sore pelvic pain and lower back, upper legs etc (I think its pelvic girdle pain or SPD) but haven't been able to see a physio yet.
DF and I rarely do it, we used to have a very active sex life before I fell pregnant but then its kinda gone downhill due to me feeling crappy etc etc and after we do 'get down to business' I'm always really sore after. We try and do it in positions which are comfier for me (lying on my side, him behind) but afterwards my lady parts feel very sore and achy and as does my lower back and pelvis etc. Little man still seems to be moving okay but I'm just wondering am I the only one feeling this or is it normal? It just kinda feels like everything's tighter down there and nothing wants to go in (sorry again for TMI).

I don't know about the hip/pelvis pain, but I can tell you that the reason everything feels tighter down there is basically because it is!! the increased blood that your body has at the moment has caused all of the membranes to swell up!!

as well, my suggestion would be to use lube! KY jelly or similar - learn from my mistake, we used one of the durex "tingle" ones that we had in the house once a few months ago and I ended up having to get in the shower afterwards cause my lady parts were BURNING

You're definitely not alone. I reckon it's a combo of hormonal changes and blood circulation changes down there, plus the fact that you are feeling uncomfortable with the spd.

I have also found that the orgasm mechanism isn't working properly anymore

Thanks soo much ladies, I'm glad, not glad that you're all suffering too (cuz its horrible) but glad that its not just me, cos sometimes it feels like it!

Ahhh thanks for that hun, really glad you told me cos I found some Durex lube that OH and I used the once and have seriously been considering it but threw it in the end cos couldn't remember how long it'd actually been open for! xx

I am feeling this too hun. Even tho I really wanna dtd, its such a effort to find a comfy possition, and then relax enough to enjoy it! And with bump I feel like a whale being humped by a chihuahua!lol
