I need a heartburn cure!

I've run out of tablets and have horrific heartburn right now!

Any home remedies out there!?

.. Also I have no milk in the house The creamiest cold thing I have is tattie salad!

what tablets were you taking? for me the only thing that has helped this heart burn long term has been omerprazole which is an antacid tablet prescribed by the doctor. It works a million times better than gaviscon and mylanta and better than those chalky tablet things too

The chalky ones are the only ones that have helped me, either fruit Rennies or Tescos own fruit ones, they work really well with me

if no tablets such as gaviscon i go to a wall, legs apart and hands beside head- then walk your hands up the wall until above head- wait for a min and normally it goes

So sorry you have nothing in the house. I'd be tearing my hair out! In this case I'd say cold water and then paracetamol. Do you have some pregnancy-safe pain killers?
