I keep packing and re-packing whilst trying to eliminate items to make it all fit in

Apparently the average they keep you in, if you can do it all natural with no problems is 6 hours? But with a c-section you should expect 3 days?

If it is all well and i can go home after 6 hours.. surely i'd need 3 nappies at the most, a couple of baby grows (just incase there's any accidents), a going home outfit..

But i have no idea.

Considering packing a separate bag incase I do need to stay in..

But arghhh. It's hard

I've just seen you're based in Derby as am I. Are you having your LO at Derby Hospital? I'm a few weeks behind you and I wondered if you could give me a low down on you're experience once you've been through it! I feel a little cheeky asking but I feel I know nothing about the place especially as they don't do tours anymore.

Of course I am delivering there, i've no tlived in derby that long nearly 3 years so the hospitals im used to are no were near as nice or even as lean for that matter so it may seem a lot better to me than it does you if that makes sense? you will need to remind me though i've a memory like a sieve pregnant or not lol I have been in the delivery rooms there ok, private bathroom as you'd expect, TV the staff are wonderful, always polite and nice (or so i've found) they have mirrored windows so you can see out and there are people walking about out there but they cant see in, its a bit strange tbh....

were abouts in derby are you?
That's good to know. I've only heard good reviews from friends but would have loved to have been able to have a tour. I live in Repton just south of Derby. Where are you based?
