Anyone else: Can't wait to start the real workouts again

I have been going to the gym pretty regularly the last five weeks ( too exhausted and sick before then) and I'm so jealous of the people sprinting on the treadmill or going crazy on the stair stepper.

I had lost about twenty pounds and had just started running when I got pregnant, which I was doing both of those things to get pregnant.

Now I'm just excited to join the fun crazy runners and Zumba dancers.

Anyone else excited to get back to it after the little one arrives?

Yes! I intended on keeping up running for as long as I could but gad hyperemesis until around 20 weeks. I'd gone that long doing nothing couldn't really just go for a run.

I can't wait to get back into it, after I'd had my daughter running was what made me feel human again x

I can't wait! I am so ready to throw myself back into a hardcore work out. I was at my peak physical condition when I got pregnant, and feel like it's gonna take a while to get back there. I'm terrified to have baby then step on scale a few weeks later and go, "Oh well guess I've 30 more pounds to go!" :P I also want to do Zumba! and RUN! lol I am sick of waddling on the treadmill.

I'm a Runner myself, ran a marathon @ 12 weeks....although I'm not running anymore I do make it to the gym or a long hour walk at least 5x per week. I CANNOT wait to get back into my running & P90x routine (I know DH is looking forward to it too)!

Wow, my story is very close to yours! I started running at the end of 2010 and had lost 20lbs by spring 2011, but then I got pregnant in the fall and was too exhausted during first tri to keep it up.

Now I just use the elliptical a few times a week and walk. It's better than nothing but I really miss being able to push myself and feel totally wrecked at the end of a workout, lol.

When I've mentioned to people that I'm excited to get back in shape they just laugh and tell me how hard it's going to be with a newborn. That makes me a little nervous

I have had people make the same comments about it being too hard, but I already have workout time carved into my schedule for once the baby is born.

I think the key is to have a plan. I know exactly when I'm going to workout and I have realistic expectations too. I want to get down to 130 which is 90 lbs from where I guess I'll be at birth. I plan on it taking till April of next year, but I can't wait to start
