Had my second sweep this morning and been on the ball pretty much constantly since then. Taking a break from it now.

She gave me a proper going over this morning, it bloody hurt! But I'd rather that than she held back to be honest.

I am progressing - now just over 2cm dilated from 1- a possible 2cm on Tuesday and almost fully effaced. I'm very favourable apparently, but still nothing is actually happening! Frustration!!

I'm currently 40 +11 and there's nothing happening at all. I had an unsuccessful sweep at 40 +9 and I'm booked in for an induction tomorrow afternoon. I'm not looking forward to this, was really hoping that things would happen naturally.

Siuan - I totally understand how you're feeling about being stressed out by the idea of induction. I've tried all of the old wives tales & nothing makes any difference.

Today has been a very emotional day for me too, just bursting into tears for no reason, I'm trying my best to stay calm for the baby but its not easy.

Oh hun i am sending you lots of positive vibes and good luck for your induction tomorrow. Just keep thinking you will be meeting your LO finally, and make sure you have any pain relief that you want should you want any, remember we dont get any medals for doing it with no pain relief.

40 +11 here today too. Still nothing solid on the labour front. I've just about given up hope of it being natural now

No induction for me yet, there's a shortage of beds at the minute, hospital said they will call back in a couple of hours. So it may not even be today that I have the induction, the waiting part is def the hardest!
