What can i do to help latent phase turn into active labour?

Some of you may know, i've been in the latent phase since thursday night and i'm pulling my hair out. Contractions come and go but they never amount to anything

So i'm wondering if anyone knows what i can do to help things progress as this labour is going nowhere.

I was thinking a really long walk or something but i have no idea?

Stalking!

I've been in latent phase since about lunchtime on Wednesday and the contractions have been about 5mins apart.

They stopped last night whilst I was asleep.

I've just been on a walk which has started them up again but I'm not holding my breath

Xx

It's absolute hell isn't it, having your body tease you like this! How come we're sat here in the latent phase for days, yet it seems most women experience it for about 5 to 10 hours then go immediately into active labour. It's not fair xxx

I wish I had the answer!!! I have been in the same boat since last Saturday!! I am so frustrated. These contractions either need to stop completely or I really need to get this show on the road. I haven't slept in days and my body is so exhausted. Walking, bouncing on the ball, stairs, sex, spicy food, RLT, squats...nothing has worked! Babies will come when they are ready, but this teasing is getting a little old!

I feel awful for youI've been going through this for 2 days and it feels like a lifetime so you must be feeling even worse than me, practically suicidal! I am sure that i will be in the same boat as you and not go into active labour for days/weeks though. ARGHHHHH some women get it so easy. What have we done to deserve not to be one of those women?!
