Are you nesting yet?

I am really desiring to ready my house for the baby, even though I am only 32 weeks today, I feel like I have SO much to do!
We are finishing up an addition to the house and it will still be a few weeks before its finished. Im having a very hard time being patient because all I want to do is NEST!

I'm 36 weeks and have had a few small spurts of nesting. Nothing that has made me want o scrub the tub with a tooth brush though. And this past week and a half, I've been sooo lazy and tired that my poor kitchen is a bit of a mess. Hope nesting kicks in before baby comes

I'm struggling with this as well - we're moving house but haven't got an exact date! Could be before or just after the baby gets here, it's horrible not being able to get everything sorted & decorated

i think i have taken nesting to a whole new level today i have gone through 1 and 1/2 bottles of bleach scrubbing the house from top to bottom including the walls. think i may have gone slightly OTT with the bleach as my 6 year old step son keeps asking me why the house smells like the swimming baths

My nesting kicked in around 30 weeks, lol! Since then I've gone through so much bleach, polish and hoovering!

Even between posting here I am cleaning or doing something.

Oh Ive totally been taken over by a nesting monster this week.....and today was the worst! I was getting in the shower when I noticed that the glass shower doors were looking dirty so in order to kill two birds with one stone I got the glass cleaner & took it into the shower with me......only realised how ridiculous I looked when I was naked, with the big bump, on my hunkers in the shower scrubbing the doors!!!!

It's what I'm like! It's like OCD overnight. I tend to look around and think "I can wash the pots, when done I will clean the sides, oven, microwave, sink." Then when in bathroom, brush teeth while washing the bath and sink, etc. It's getting ridiculous but I love it - I feel grown up..

I have a massive list ... but I'm only tackling 1-2 things/day, and I've broken it all down into fairly small things. Right now I'm working on going through our filing cabinet and putting things into binders where appropriate (e.g. bank statements, insurance) instead of files, so we can get rid of the cabinet, which is currently in the nursery, and so that the binders can be downstairs where the computer is. That's one of the three biggest tasks on my list - the others are to clear out and clean the kitchen cabinets/drawers, 2 units at a time, and to clean the windows, but these are all things we try to do once a year anyway. I don't think I have any real nesting urge/drive, though I do enjoy organizing/cleaning
