My personnel manager is an absoulte b!tch. She hasnt had children so has no idea. Im still waiting to hear back about maternity pay since handing her my matB1 at 24 weeks. Try and speak to her and I get spoken to like a child. So if I go in to ask her about more breaks all hell will break loose!! I asked her for the 20th of this month off for a funeral- firstly she asked me whos funeral it was not that it was any of her business, then she went and asked me if the person was dead yet if the funeral isnt until the 20th!!! I was gobsmacked!!

Mines isnt the best either, I tend to deal with one of the assistants when I can, how is your department manager? Mines is great and I know if I spoke with him about taking a little sit down it wouldnt be a problem.

The department manager is worse than the personnel manager lol! She too has no children! When I was pregnant with my son my manager was a man, all the staff I worked with were men and we had a different personnel manager. I didnt have any problems what so ever then. x
