My god you are standing all day at 27 weeks? You poor thing! When do you start maternity?one thing that helped me was support tights or flight socks- really glamorous but help. Although I got hit by spd and had to stop work about 28 weeks anyway.
Surely thay have to let you sit down to work?

I'm on my feet all of the time but I'm used to it because I've worked this job for 2 years now. Have you had a risk assessment, pregnant women aren't supposed to stand at work in the UK for more than 2 hours (I regularly break this but as I say I'm used to it) without a break/sit down.

Hope you can resolve this hun as its clearly not working

I did not know that!!! No they havent done a risk assesment! How many weeks pregnant does that relate to? I was stood for 3 hours 45 mims before getting a 15 min break (cant work for more than 4 hours without break so they push it to the limit)
xx

I work in a supermarket and im on my feet all day, but i've never been taken away from it so im used to it. I much prefer it to be honest and the 10-15 mins im sat on checkouts helping out kills me but like the other ladies have said, your entilted to more breaks and if need be my work allow for 10 mins break for every hour on your feet. Check with your personnel team x

Your risk assessment should be done after you have your scan and given your due date, you can express concern for any part of your job here and it has to be addressed.
