I'm seeing my midwife in a couple of hours for a sweep. Let's hope that my cervix is ok for it and it gets things going. Really don't want to have to be induced at the weekend...

Boo sorry to hear that. A good friend went from high up'n'shut to fully open and crowning in less than three days,don't be disheartened!

You can't say you didn't try! Have you used clary sage? I haven't had any luck but heard lots ofsuccess stories.

It smells pretty unpleasant to... may be worth a go - just don't use it neat anywhere! Oweee.

I'm off to buy teaspoons and toilet roll then a sweep. Then I can tell everyone 'teaspoons, bogroll and a good fumble from my midwife. That's what did it for me!'

Naughty LO has gone from being 2/5th engaged,to popping right,back out again! So no sweep for me. She is going to have another go next Tues so until then I guessI'll just keep bouncing!

Oh dear, sorry to all you ladies who have had unsuccessful sweeps! It's my due date to
Tomorrow and MW said I can have a sweep if all ok!
