The 'Almost 40 weeks and NOTHING!' thread

With my little girl there was no sign of labour at all.

My due date came and I was so disappointed!lol! I literally counted down the hours until midnight and then accepted that she still wasn't here. At 01.30am my waters broke! She was just teasing! Don't give up hope! xx

So just had my sweep! It was ok, a bit uncomfy as cervix was tucked behind the baby's head so she had to bring it forward! She could get a fingertip in and said she gave it a good go! Booked for another a week today if nothing happens!

Still nothing here, no plug, a few BHs but nothing to shout about. Still, I'm enjoying my time off while MIL looks after LO!

Booo Just had a friend round who confirms it can come out of nowhere! I think it's just so disheartening hearing about all these gucky plugs (you lucky ladies ) coming out that makes me feel like I'm NEVER going to have this baby! But she didn't have any show, neither did my sister or best friend.

I'm now hoping that I don't go into labour. I hate the number 13 - I don't want it to be my baby's birth date!

I had no show or anything either hun, waters just went out of nowhere and that was my first sign! Lol xx

Me neither, it's been a few hours and I've had no show, no cramps, nothing! Its as if I never had it done lol!

I don't even care if she comes on Friday the 13th now. Just get out!
