Is being around lambs dangerous throughout whole pregnancy or just the start?!

I was thinking of taking my little man to a lambing event in a couple of weeks but my aunt mentioned today that i shouldn't be around lambs or places where lambing is going on because of some risk of infection which can apparently cause stillbirths?!

I very vaguely recall reading about this a looong time ago but i thought it was dangerous just at the start of pregnancy (no idea why i am thinking this though!), is it something to worry about the whole way through?

I can't seem to find very much info about it anywhere but maybe im not looking properly!

The NHS have a page on this hon, basically it gives a list of things you shouldn't do, but it does say that the risk is very low because the diseases/infections that could be passed on are very rare anyway xx

it's the whole pregnancy! we went to an open farm a couplf of months ago and they had signs up everywhere warning you not to go near/touch the sheep and lambs if you were pregnant!

I think if you are not the one actually doing the 'lambing', if youcatch my drift, or eating raw lamb, then it should be fine!

Thanks for the advice!
The chances are obviously tiny but we would be watching lambs being born and being around them while they're all gooey (mmm!), my little man touches everything so i think i'll leave the lambing this year and take him to the zoo instead, knowing my luck i would be the one in whatever tiny percentage that got an infection from a lamb!
