I am nesting like crazy. I am 31 weeks, but I have an incredible urge to start packing for the hospital. I think its a bit early so I wanted to see when other ladies started to pack theirs.

Also: Its been 9 years since I have been in a hospital to give birth... lol. Here is a list of baby stuff... did I forget anything?

I packed at the beginning of 37 weeks

And for baby all I put in was a blanket, 2-3 different homecoming outfits so i can dress baby depending on the weather when we leave the hosp, 1 pair of socks, a hat/beanie and 1 pair of no scratch mittens. Oh and the car seat in the car lol.

My hospital supplies everything else for baby while we're there

That sounds like an awesome hospital. Ours supplies diapers and wipes and formula, but I am BFing so that doesn't matter anyway.

I just got the baby packed a few days ago.. have yet to pack for myself. I did pack one preemie outfit and two newborn... cause I don't know how big he will be and just in case he poops on his clothes

I packed at 28 weeks, so what if it's a little early, two small bags - one for me, one for baby. Tucked away in a cupboard and don't have to think about it til the big day.

DH. Was obsessed by packing as itwas something "he could do" so i was packed at 28 weeks. Bit alarmed at how many breast pads he thinks I will need ( 100) and the fact he bought me a size 22 nighty ( uk 14 max).
He has also included a snow suit for LO( just right for may) and a huge teddy.
6 baby grows, a few vests, 12 nappies 3 hats , socks 2 blankets and sterile bottles and formal just incase.
The bag weighs a ton!

Just had a look in it... 20 muslins, 5 burp cloths 4 bibs the list goes on... Plus a pair of purple fur ugg boot slippers for me.
Do I risk upsetting him by repacking?

i packed with my daughter at 39 weeks, for me i would have waited long... my husband and mom had an other idea...

this time i will pack around 37 weeks, somehow i have a feeling this one wont make it till his due date. i will write a list of what i need in may, since my husband is gone all of may it gives me something to do.

i will need 3 bags.

one for my daughter, in case the baby comes before schedules (no family withing 6 hrs of driving)

toothbrush, tooth paste, clothes, pjs, sippy and snacks

one for the baby

4 onesies
4 sleepers
1 going home outfit
2 receiving blackets
1 thicker blanket
2 pair of mitten
2 pair of socks
2 hats

2 diapers for the ride home, wipes and cream (ONLy live 10 min away, but never know with newborn ...)

change (for oh, vending mashine while in labor)
phone charger, laptop, charger, camera, charger

3 pjs (Sportpants and tshirt)
sportsbra/nursing bra

dress for going home, maxi dress so there is no pressure anywhere

pads, witchhazel and all that stuff is provided by the hospital
so are wipes and diapers... i will nurse so wont need formula, which it also provided though

it also supplies clothes and blankets for the baby, i just prefer to use my own

I've packed for baby... and I have the suitcase I'm bringing with a few things in there but I'm not finished yet. I can't wrap my head around the idea that this is happening very soon! hahaha

no such thing as too early hon! I thought i had plenty of time but promised my mom i'd be packed by 34wks. Well i put it off and went into labor early at 34+5! Let me tell you packing between contractions at 2am is NOT FUN! lol I at least had made a list already but the bag was nowhere near packed and DH was in such a panic i really regretted not doing it sooner!
