My BH's are really sporadic, they normally last about 3 minutes but I've had a couple last 6 minutes!! Ouch!

Oh hun. I can tell you're as all over the place as I am from your posts!

BH can last anywhere from just a few mins to hours - I've had them for up for 3/4 hours a couple of times. They don't normally get any stronger though, just either keep coming or disappear.

Oooh I got it right first time then lol!

Yeah they can carry on for hours, chick. As I said, they won't increase in intensity but can easily keep going for hours on end. It's happened lots to me. I've been able to distinguish between BH and real contractions so far cos when I've had real contractions, they've become noticably stronger over time, whereas BH don't.

Hmmm. Could be similar to me, chick - I've been in slow labour now for a while. Every time I get contractions, they're worse than the last time AND keep building in intensity. The thing is, they do keep stopping eventually again, lol.

The good news is it all helps to dilate you and get things ready; I was barely a cm dilated a couple weeks back but am now a good 3cm, so I know all the annoying pains are actually doing something.

Does changing your activity affect them? My BH can get pretty intense until I get up and move about, or sit down if I've been exerting myself.
