Advice needed please - is this something i need to worry about?

Firstly i need to say the reason i am worried is because i have hypermobility and have been told i am at risk of pre term labour - but this being my first i am not sure exactly what i am looking for lol

For the last week i have been having low back pain and the last few days i have had terrible pressure in my pelvis and weeing more as well - baby is still moving but less than before and the last two or three days i have had tightning/pressure on and off across top of my bump area

TMI - have also had a bit of increase in discharge but no sign of mucas plug or waters.

I am due to see consultant on thursday - is the increase in the pressure something i should worry about now or just hold off and bring it up at the appt on thursday - i am just looking for opinions really as not too sure sure to make the long trip to the hospital if there is nothing to worry about yet.

I don't know, but I always think you should trust your instinct so I think you should ask for help.

I don't really know much either, but I sometimes get terrible pressure in my pelvis as well, but then she moves again. It might just be the position your LO has moved to. I get kicks and punches in the cervix sometimes as well. At 32 weeks I just started getting bh, but my consultant said it was fine. And the having to pee more often is definitey normal. But I also think, trust your instincts. Maybe you can give your consultant a call on tuesday? I'd say rest a lot with your feet up! That's what I was told. At least 2 hours/day!

Hope all is okay.

I am not trying to scare you in the slightest but these are the same warning signs my baby sister had when she went into premature labor at 32.5 weeks. She had her daughter 7 hours later. I know every one is different but please dont wait. Please if you are ever feeling something is not right then do not wait. Please go and be seen at your L&D it's better to be safe. If it is premature labor there are ways to stop it and steroid shots to be given if you did go onto having your baby prematurely. Good luck sweety

thanks everyone i called midwives last night who told me to take some painkillers and relax for the evening and to moniter the tightenings and they pretty much eased off completely. Midwives said that if they come back to call and let them know straight away but to make sure i mention it to the consultant on thursday and if i was really worried to come on in

oh and last night my darling daughter decided to try and 'alien' her way through my stomach so aggressivly i was quite worried but she obv needed a good stretch as she settled down again after that.
