Yeah me too.. walks with the dog and baby!! We are Mollanbowie so not far from you and no excuse for the park as so close.. the dog must get walked though so wont have an option. I just hope its a decent summer (dry and mild anyway)

Yeah she was 36weeks.. so a couple of week agead of us and I thought she was small too. Same with the other girl, although she had been told her wee one was measuring small. Even so. I never got a good look at your friends bump to comment!! hehe.

so are you renting a pool for the homebirth or just seeing where in the house takes your fancy? I would be worried the neighbours would hear lol xx

Nah, can't afford to rent a pool as OH has just lost his job - worst timing ever. So I've asked the family to look out old sheets for me to put down so I don't ruin the white carpets lol.
I have warned the midwives though that if I'm not comfortable I'm changing to the vale for a waterbirth. I love being in water and would love to have my baba in water but hate having to go into hospital when I'm more comfortable in my own house. I am scared of neighbours hearing though, I've asked OH to go politely notify them nearer the time in case they're the sort to hear screams and phone 999 lol, they are very elderly so it wouldn't surprise me.
What kind of dog you got? I had to rehome mine in January and I'm still crying myself to sleep about it. Dogs really are the best thing ever, and great motivation to move your behind when you dont wanna!

It purely depends on where baby is lying too hun. Baby could be tucked right up so you may never get a bump.

I too though am sick and tired of people saying ' your bump is tiny' grrrrr

yea, even the midwives have a hard time getting her heart rate because she is always lying at such an awkward angle it barely registers on the doppler, I usually end up showing them where's the best position to put the doppler to hear her lol.
My cousin had her baby yesterday and up until now the family keep saying to me about how her bump is so much bigger/so much rounder/she's just glowing
where am I hiding my baby and it was getting a little exhausting. At least now she's had her healthy baba they should stop comparing me to her - until my LO wont sleep through the night while hers does or something silly like that lol.

Uch thats sucks!! Hope something comes up soon! My OH lost his end of Feb but has something now thank goodness. It is worrying but something always comes up
i know i am hoping for a water birth but it just depends on your luck as to whether its available on the day and your labour situation!
Hehe I am the opposite I am looking forward to going into hospital. Think i will cope better being away from my home comforts.
You may surprise yourself and there will be no noise!! Have you got a bath?

Aww thats a shame, how come you had to re-home?

She is a German Shepherd, so folk avoid us walking down the street like she is some killer! She is a big soft lump. Just hope she takes ok to baby as enjoys getting all the attention! But i dont think for a 2nd any issue with hurting baby... but i am wary with all animals and children so they will never be left alone.. as it is animals to children and you can never tell whats going on. So best to be there to stop baby harassing dog and vice a versa.
she does however dislike small dogs, so I try to avoid them - She was attacked by a terrier when a puppy and has never forgot it! even though it was laughed at as she was a big puppy and any aggressive wee dogs folk find that acceptable and funny, yet if a bit dog barks, they are the wrong ones... (sorry i am ranting here now lol).. so when she grew up any terrier type dogs are not welcomed! Keeps me on my toes xx

You do have a really small bump! At least that doesn't say anything about the health of your LO! Every pregnancy is different, so rock your small bump!!

I must say if I walked past you I wouldn't guess you were pregnant! Everyone grows differently though and a healthy baby at the end is all that matters! Try not to take thoughtless comments to heart, people probably mean well xx
