Uh-oh... Nesting?

I may have hit the nesting phase. Everyone I know says when they started nesting after a long stretch if fatigue and tiredness, baby was on its way! I'm still a bit early but expecting to go early from early on. Also, I've had a few stronger contractions today and some have become crampy. Not saying this is it yet but something is happening. I've been contracting for almost 2 weeks already and on Tuesday I was 2 cm and 70% with babys head down low. So I guess we'll see how this whole nesting thing goes and if it actually means anything for me.

I found myself doing a bit of "nesting" all of a sudden last night, like getting all the washing done, making up the spare room for the grandparents who will visit after baby is born and putting things away that have just been sitting around for weeks.

I am being induced on Saturday, but was 2cm and engaged at my Obs last week and she said she wouldn't be surprised if he came before we got to the induction. I'm hoping the nesting instinct is right and he starts to come on his own - I'm petrified of having that oxytocin drip!!

All the best!

I've gone through nesting spurts since 30 weeks.

Ooh good luck. I'm hoping it means sonething for you. I dunno if I'm quite ready for it but if it happens early for me I'm sure I'll be happy for it. I guess I'm kind of torn on going early. I want to but I don't feel ready. I feel a bit like "pregnant" is what I am and will be forever. Lol.

I've had spurts but usually they only last long enough to get one or two chores done. Not the whole house like it was today. and these past two weeks I've been absolutely lazy and lethargic. (iron levels are fine so it wasn't anemia.)
