full term! bloody show and back pain

I was 37 weeks yesterday... went to the doctor on Friday - I'm 2 cm, 80% effaced and she's at 0 station. I was told I'd bleed after the exam which I did then it reduced to spotting. Last night, I had a ton of Braxton Hicks but this time I also had back pain with them. Well this morning I had a giant glob of bloody mucus and have had pretty bad period type back pain all day. I know it can be weeks still after the bloody show but I have a feeling it's going to be soon. It's not even bad yet but I'm already second guessing this natural birth thing. lol!

I'm curious if anyone has had all of these signs and still held out for a couple of weeks?

I just passed 37 the 37 week mark as well! Hurraayyy!

My dr told me last thursday that baby's head is already engaging and since my BH were so frequent she wouldn't be surprised if baby showed up early.

I've been having a lot of cervical pain/pressure the past few days and lots of cm- but no plug/show.. Achey belly pains and back pain, but no baby!! haha. I'm so eager for him to come now.

I had a sweep at 37+2, was 1 cm dilated and it started off period like pains, some contractions but no bloody show. It lasted 2 days then disappeared...I am still pregnant lol

Hmmm... well I've had about 4 pretty nasty contractions about 8 minutes apart in a row. All mostly in my back and they don't feel good. Like, at all. So now I'm finishing the packing of my bag and getting ready. Hopefully it's all for nothing.

I had two false starts last weekend at labour ward, pains every 3-4 mins, was only 1cm and then all pains stopped! Have since had my bloody show, over a week ago now and have back ache, period pains etc quite regularly and a lot of pressure/stinging down below! No sign of baby yet x

I was 2cm and engaged at my obs last Thursday. I also had some bleeding after the exam which has now gone but a fair bit of discharge came out with it. Also had period like cramps in my back and front but they have also settled down. I haven't really had any major BH contractions, just that tightening when I walk around a bit, but it stops when I stop. The last 24 hours I've had a bit more pressure down there, but nothing too bad. I'm being induced on Saturday but am hoping he'll still decide to come on his own before then.

It's now 12:30am and contractions are really coming strong and about 4 minutes apart. Methinks it's time to go to the hospital....
