my bump is measuring less... did I drop?

I have noticed a lot of pressure in my pelvic region yesterday.. and so last night I measured my bump.. and it measured only 29 weeks. I will be 38 weeks on tues. And I been measuring smaller since 32 weeks..at that time i was measuring 29 weeks.. but it grew and I was measuring 34 weeks a few days ago. So can this sudden drop mean baby has dropped? This is my third though and I heard this doesn't happen until youre in labor or about to go into labor. I was also 2 cm dilated last week. Had a ton of extra discharge this morning and lower back ache all day.

Um yes, normally when you drop the measurements go down! So maybe you'll have a baby soon!

sounds like the baby dropped! they dont always necessarily stay down either, so maybe that explains your measurements going up and down, but once it starts getting more cramped the baby will drop and stay there!
