Could be a bladder infection. I have had several and at one point it was so bad I could not pee.

(Sorry I'm a lurker from second tri!)

Could be a uti or just the baby pushing down on your bladder. Try tilting forward when you pee and it may help. I would talk to your doctor if I were you just to be safe and possibly get a urinalysis. GL

I had/have issues like this, I'm pretty sure its just the baby being down into the bladder and squeezing the ducts.

Yes, could def be UTI, I get them so frequently I can spot them at the first sign, even before any pain/discomfort. But, if you are able to rule out an infection, it could very well be just baby pounding on your bladder :/ I often (almost daily) feel that quick shooting pain sensation, much like the urgency to pee, but figured out that it's just my little boy rolling around and stretching out!

Hi, have you had any back problems? I have some bulging discs in my back and during the earlier part of pregnancy they were causing a lot of pain. My physio said to call a doc ASAP if I ever had problems such as you describe in case the discs were causing a more serious problem. I would call the doc just in case. It could just be a UTI though, hope you're better soon x
