have they checked your urine for a urine infection? sometimes if theres blood in your urine from an infection it can change the colour.. although usually its more of an orange/red than a pink ..

id definately get it checked again. BUT if theyre insisting its nothing, dont just be pushed under the carpet. trust your instincts, if you think theres something not right dont back down. perhaps if no hope at your appointment it could be an idea to take a trip to your hospitals labour ward. just explain it is still happening and your extremely worried. if they cannot figure things out and you continue to insist, then they SHOULD get a ward doctor involved in your care whilst there. it may mean you get admitted until they can figure it out, but your baby will be under observation through NST's etc so it may be the best place.

heep us updated. thinking of you x

Yes, they checked my urine.
Last time there was a bit of protein in it,
Doc sent me home to collect my urine for 24 hours,
she said she was worried it could be Preeclampsia, but my blood work was all fine.

i asked about a UTI, she said there was no sign of one.

Ring your doctors in the morning and start making waves, say you are feeling not better abd you have swelling. They eithet need to hurry up with your bloodwork and go from there or give you a full check up x

JUST got back from my appointment.
Doctor told me that the "swab" that was testing for infection never even got sent to the lab... this upset me so much that i started crying,
she then continued talking about how i get too upset about things, and how "I really want you to take zoloft!"
(she has been offering me zoloft since i was 5 WEEKS pregnant.)
I am not a fan of drugs, i dont even take headache meds.

she then continued to tell me that im not going to want to even touch my baby after he is born...that im going to have awful PPD.

she left the room and came back in asking if i wanted a 2nd opinion.
Which OF COURSE i want a second opinion, since she gave me no helpful insight as to what is going on with my pregnant body.

Going to visit a new doctor sometime next week...
wish us luck!

Your doctor is a complete JOKE. They screwed up and then tried to shift the attention on you and some bullshit problems that haven't even come to pass. They need to be concentrating on what could potentially be wrong RIGHT NOW. Find a new doctor ASAP - like today if possible. If you have to - explain what is going on right now to stress the urgency of the situation - and I do believe it is urgent at this point. I don't think I would wait another week.

Of course you were crying and upset. You entrust this doctor with the care of your unborn baby and yourself and they are fucking it up left and right and don't seem to really care to find out what is wrong. Anyone would be upset! Next time that idiot suggest Zoloft you should suggest a malpractice suit. Holy crap!

You shouldn't put up with that. She can't know that you will have odd and it's cruel for her to say you will. It sounds like she's just trying to put you on drugs so that you won't care about anything and won't bother her with your legitimate concerns. Sounds like she may be projecting a past experience onto you which is not fair to you. If you can't get a new doctor right away, you should go get checked out at hospital emergency. Tell them that your doc never even sent in your test and you are really worried. Tell them you've gotten worse and they will probably test you and get rush results. Pregnant women usually get through triage pretty quick. At least that's how it is in Canada
