Ur previous doctor was clearly an idiot that didn't give a damn about anything. I'd make a complaint to who ever there higher up is because it was uncalled for, and well not professional.

As for Pre-E.... The problem with this, is you could have blood/urine tests come back fine, than 48 hours later come back as full blown Pre-E. Saddly, its not always something that just starts small and works its way up, somtimes it can come on in a matter of hours.

As for Labor & Delviery, if you are ever concenered, just go down there. Its better safe than sorry Hope your pregnancy goes good though for the remainder, and that you get a better doctor.

yea, I've had High BP thoughout my whole pregnancy, so my docotr (who i adore she's awesome), told me that any swelling that concerns me, to go get checked out. If I get headaches that don't seem to let up, to go get checked out. If my eye sight starts to bother me to go get checked out. So far I haven't had any of thoses issues, but, I had a friend with Pre-E... She was however, diagnosed at 20 weeks. However, she had no signs for it up in till she was diagnosed, nothing. One day she was reading a book, and the pages in the book went fuzzy. The next day her legs where so swollen she couldn't walk... So it was pretty scary, however, lots of bed rest, tons of doctors appointments. She did carry to full term, and had a natural birth .

It can be scary, but yes, any time go get checked, even if u feel like ur being a pain in the ass or they treat you like shit.. its better safe than sorry.
