Anyone else feel like they're going to be pregnant forever?

I'm 40+1 and I seriously feel like this baby is never going to come out. A few people who were due AFTER me have already had their babies but my LO is just being extremely stubborn...he hasn't even engaged yet! I know it can't be too much longer because they are going to schedule me for an induction this Wednesday for this weekend but still...

I'm so sick of being so tired all the time, checking the toilet paper everytime I pee hoping for a sign of something happening, getting anxious over every cramp praying it's the beginning of contractions, responding to countless texts from family asking if I'm feeling anything yet...it's just so annoying now!

Anyone else feel like they're going to be pregnant forever? Feel free to complain and share your ”symptoms”!

I'm no where near as far as you but I do feel like "pregnant" is what I have become and that it is now who i am. Like its never going to end an that I'm not really going to have a baby, just a big old bump. I was actually just saying this to a friend a few days ago. I know I'm not even 37 weeks yet but I always thought I'd have him super early because it's how my family is. But here I am, almost full term.

surprising after having been in early labor for 2 weeks now. Well that's what the nurse at l&d called it. Contractions are definitely working in my cervix but not enough to be real labor.

It's so frustrating! I can't even imagine myself with a baby though...it's weird...I just want him here already & I want to get the labor part over with lol

not there yet, but i was.. with my daughter

i took primrose oil vaginally, walked, took black and clue cohosh, ate spicy food, pineapple had sex a lot ... by 40w i was 70% Effaced and 1 cm dilated, head was still +2 (if i dont mix them two up now, the higher one) .. got induced at 40+1. the doc said after i had her that she would have not came on her own for another 2-3 weeks ...

I felt like that with my 1st & 2nd babies. i went 8 days over with my first and 9days over with my second. and lots of false starts you just get fed up at that point and wonder if it will happen lol. everyday i'd wake up and think maybe today maybe today in the end they came when i gave up and thought right i better prepair myself for induction. good luck hope it happens soon it is frustrating when you go over x

Me!!!! I know I'm not due for 10 more days but I have no goddam progression at all and I'm almost 39 weeks! My doctor won't even check me until I am 40 weeks and lily is really killing me with her knees and feet. It's cute I love that she is so strong and healthy but holy! Then there is the severe spd combined with the sore knees and feet and hands and the pressure on my pelvis etc c'mon! Get here already

Me too! 40+4 here and madam's being stubborn. Lost my plug 3 weeks ago on Wednesday and been having achy crampy type pains and some strong BH but it's all come to nothing so far. However, today I've been cleaning, tidying and sorting things out like a demented mad woman so here's hoping its nesting and therefore a good sign that things may start soon!!

I'm right there with you! I'm so done with being pregnant now. Every day I wake up thinking today's the day but everyday I'm disappointed. At least your induction is scheduled for this weekend. Mines not until next Wednesday! Ugh hoping the best for both of us!

I don't even hard a midwife appointment until rhursday!
And the last time i saw her was 38 weeks. Ridiculous if you ask me. I am gonna be pregnant forever. I really thought my contractions were for real last night then i bloody fell asleep and away they went. Grr. I havent lost my plug, waters have no sign of going, irregular contractions every now and again. I have spent the majority of the last two days with the toilet as my best friend though
