Can someone tell me about Evening Primrose Oil ..

What is it supposed to do?
Do you insert or take orally?
When can you start to use it?

Has anyone used it and have an success stories, or think it's a load of rubbish

I'm 38 weeks 4days and started taking them 2 days ago...

I bought the 500mg ones and took one orally and put one up inside of me (just plonked it up there, no need to pierce holes and all that crap).

I woke up the next morning with really bad stomach pains, like period pains.

But they died off when I took a paracetamol, but ever since I've been getting the odd mild period pain and I've had more pressure to my cervix (stabbing pains that I've never had before)

So hopefully they're working! x

Its supposed to soften the cervix (the same way sperm apparently does) and help it dilate.
You can do both - personally I take it orally.
And I think I started it at 38 weeks.

I have no experience of whether it actually works yet, but I'll let you know

Yeah I read that you can start at 34weeks with oral ingestion. then at 36 weeks you also put some in internally.
I'm 35wks so I'm just doing the oral dose so far and probably wont start the internal dose untill 37-38 weeks
(don't want baby early as were still finishing off house renovations!!!)
