Hate ringing in sick at work!

My line manager is a cow and I hate ringing in sick but doc has given me a sick note for a week due to SPD and water infection but I still get all hot and sweaty ringing her. Luckily only have this week and next then I'm on leave for 4 weeks before mat leave starts. Sorry for the rant x

I know it's horrible, my boss is a cow too but there is nothing they can say/do if you have a sick note.

Thanks, it's awful feeling like this tho. I'm just waiting for her to call me back she wasn't even in work yet!

If you have a sicknote it may well be actually against their insurance for you to be at work. So even if they are pissed off, there's nothing they can do until you get passed as fit to work again. Put your feet up and hopefully you'll feel better soon.
