I had a m/c in June and the bleeding then was horrendous, literally in the bathroom every few minutes, so I'm hoping it's not that bad???
Sorry to hear of your m/c
I had one quite a few years ago at 12 weeks and the bleeding was FAR heavier than bleeding after my first son was born (like you say, i was literally having to go to the bathroom every few mins and was soaking through everything!), so i don't think bleeding after childbirth should be anywhere near as bad. Hope that eases your mind a bit
Ah thanks hon, I only mentioned it cause it's my only non-period experience of bleeding! Glad to hear that bleeding after birth shouldn't be that bad, the last thing I want when I should be looking after a new born is needing to rush off to the loo all the time!
I've wondered this too as have heard varying stories of how much bleeding you have after birth.
I have pretty light periods, have never suffered with them. I also had a miscarriage last April, which was induced with misoprostol in hospital as was a missed miscarriage, and my bleeding with that surprised me a lot, in that it was no more than a normal period amount for me It just went on longer as, after the few days of normal bleeding, I then spotted for about another 10 days. So I'm hoping I'm just naturally not much of a 'bleeder' and it may not be that bad
