I feel slightly disheartened now, just got back from my appointment and baby's head is still not engaged, dammit! I was certain it would be as I've been feeling so much movement really low down! I now think that baby will be overdue, sigh! lol he's healthy and normal though so that's the main thing, it's just that I have family coming over for 2 weeks on my due date so I really wanted baby to be here for that, don't want them having to go home again after 2 weeks and i'm still pregnant or have only just had the baby...oh well! Fingers crossed!!! x
I am due May 5th! I can't believe it is almost here! I have a feeling I will go overdue! I am ready to meet my baby boy though. We don't have a name picked yet, it kind of makes me feel stressed. I am happy we can all count down together!
Ifoundmysoul I wanted to do this because we could also be April mummies, nice to have a few people due within a few days of each other.
MrsQ I have Charlie for a boys name, love it and Seattle for a girl. I really like Harrison and Riley. My name is Kimberley and I have to say I've always liked it. So good choices. ;-)
Its great, we are all due within a few days of each other. How are you all feeling? Any symptoms yet. I have been having contractions and diarrhoea all day, actually thought I was in labour earlier, still having them. I've been able to time my BH twice over the last couple of weeks but these are more painful and I have backache too. Think unfortunately that they are settling down now. I will go to bed and see how I get on. Over the past week I've had increased discharge, stronger BH and shooting pains down there, anyone else having all this??
i like the name charlie for a boy or girl
i also have the same symptoms as you... BH are starting to get very very annoying to the as they hurt a little
Hmmmm I am having absolutely no BH except occasionally when I'm asleep one will wake me up but it's never more than one and never while I'm awake. I wonder if that's a bad sign in terms of going overdue.
Hey, I'm due May 1st, hoping for an April baby Kimmy, I'm in the same boat as you With the ongoing BH and yesterday had lower back ache all day. I've also been having sharp pains down there and lots of tightening. PS....I live about an hour away from Seattle, WA here in the states, so when u mentioned that name, I was surprised, have never heard it before
Taramichelle, thats why I love the name Seattle, my partner and I went there last yr and just loved it! I have loved the name Mia since I was 20 and now its one of the most common names so I wanted something different.
FayA your bump is gorgeous. Is this your first child? I remember with my first he was engaged at around 37 weeks and this one is so low now. You've still plenty of time.
So I had 7 hrs of contractions yesterday, much stronger than my usual BH, so I decided to go for a walk and when hubby got home we had sex! Still I woke through the night with a few painful enough to wake me, but again they went and today its the usual BH. Weird!
Anyone else sitting around eating crap, and depressed cos they are so over pregnancy and not being able to move or sleep properly! I need to do something or I'm going to have a lot of weight to lose after LO is here.
I thought yesterday it might be cool to have a Friday 13th baby but then remembered this baby is going to be the 13th grandchild aswell. I decided then it would be called Damian if it was a boy! But so far not to be.
Ashiozz is this your first baby? I went 6 days overdue with my first and can see the same with this one. frustrating isn't it.
The month is flying in girls, its only 18 days till May, we are all soooooo close!!
