Feeling extra breathless today so wondering if this baby has moved back up out of the pelvis. Though I have a pretty small torso, I'm only 5 ft 1 and I think I'm going to have a big baby!

MrsQ sounds promising for you. Looks like we are going to have quite a few girls sitting around waiting past their due date thought.

Cervix made of steel, that conjures up some funny pictures. I think you said you were due 25th April? Still 12 days away, have you dropped? They say sometimes the cervix can stay fully closed till delivery. I wouldn't worry too much though its not unusual for a first to go up to 2 weeks over. I was just asking my sisters today about their labours. One had to be induced twice! The other went to exactly 40 weeks both times! I went 6 days over due so not looking good for me either!

We should try to leave messages on here when we go into labour, will be so exciting waiting around to hear how everyone goes. x

No symptoms. I feel like its the calm before the storm!! I've had random aches and pains but nothing consistent and NO BH! Normal? My belly is quite big I feel like popping literally.

Where are you all having baby? I'm at Haywards Heath Sussex
I'm due on the 3rd of May and also going to Princess Royal, so we might be there at the same time.

Ever since last night when I sneezed while I was peeing I've been getting an awful lot of period pain cramps and backache, they sort of went away once I slept but are now back. It's actually quite noticeable!

See this is why I needed a MW appointment today! Stupid fully bookedness

Not sure what to do! Any suggestions?

FayA your bump is gorgeous. Is this your first child? I remember with my first he was engaged at around 37 weeks and this one is so low now. You've still plenty of time.

So I had 7 hrs of contractions yesterday, much stronger than my usual BH, so I decided to go for a walk and when hubby got home we had sex! Still I woke through the night with a few painful enough to wake me, but again they went and today its the usual BH. Weird!

Anyone else sitting around eating crap, and depressed cos they are so over pregnancy and not being able to move or sleep properly! I need to do something or I'm going to have a lot of weight to lose after LO is here.

I thought yesterday it might be cool to have a Friday 13th baby but then remembered this baby is going to be the 13th grandchild aswell. I decided then it would be called Damian if it was a boy! But so far not to be.

Ashiozz is this your first baby? I went 6 days overdue with my first and can see the same with this one. frustrating isn't it.

The month is flying in girls, its only 18 days till May, we are all soooooo close!!
Aww thanks, yes this is my first which is why i'm thinking i'll go over, and we've been told it's a boy and a lot of people say boys are lazy and overdue haha! dammit! Yeah I am still quite early to be worrying too much, I just get impatient! If i'm not engaged by 38 weeks I think maybe i'll be more disheartened lol.

Your bump is amazing! and I defo agree that I think you've dropped a bit I can't imagine how you have been feeling with those contractions though! ouch!! I am slightly jealous that 'something' is happening for you though haha, how sad is that? i'm jealous of your contractions!! haha! I am still a little bit behind most of you though so I guess fingers crossed I have that to come in the next few weeks!!

It would be good to follow what people are trying to do to 'encourage' labour and whether any of it actually makes a difference! lol You said about walking and sex Kimmy, I will also be doing this as of next week, hubby's not gonna know what's hit him! haha! I also have some Clary sage that I will be using in the bath and I think i'll make up a massage oil with it and rub it into my bump to see if that helps get things started.

I'm so with you on the eating crap food though, i've just had toast for breakfast and then a slice of chocolate cake I made a few days ago!! lol Talk about greedy! haha But yeah I have put on about 3 stone since being weighed at my booking in appointment so I figure stuff it! I'll have to work it all off anyway so I may as well enjoy these last few weeks of allowing myself chocolate! lol

And last night I just couldn't get to sleep AT ALL! Grrr sooo frustrating, we went to bed about 11ish and I don't think I nodded off until about half 1-2ish! then of course I am constantly waking up tossing and turning, bump getting heavy and uncomfortable, then needing a wee! lol Oh the fun and games of late pregnancy! lol

I'm due 3rd of May, and my daughter (if she stays a girl!) will be called Charlie (Charlotte Mary).

I have high blood pressure and my consultant doesn't want me to go past my due date, so have an appointment on Tuesday to discuss induction dates etc. I'm going to try and leave it as close to my due date as possible, as my midwife has agreed to do a sweep at 39 weeks exactly, so I'll have almost a week to try and kick things off naturally!

My bump has always been low and think it has dropped a bit, though I'm not engaged. Not had any bh or symptoms yet, but don't feel too bad at the moment, am just really tired and my heartburn is killing me.

On the plus side of being induced, I know I've not got too long to wait, though on the down side I still have quite a lot to do to finish the nursery and all I feel like doing today is lying on the sofa watching tv and eating cake!
