Where did this pressure come from? Is anyone else feeling loads of pressure low down? Is this something that will come and go in the last weeks or is it a sign of things starting?
x

Newly married, I've been feeling the pressure for a couple of weeks but every so often it gets really bad. I was pretty much laid out watching episodes of Desparate Houswives yesterday then went for dinner with family last night. After getting up the baby started having a breakdance down there and when this happens now I get sharp pains in my cervix. Kinda like someone pokes me in the cervix with a knitting needle. I flinch when it happens and it usually goes on intermittently for about half an hr until bubs settles down. I also fee a real heavy pressure in my bits when I walk or use the toilet to the point it feels like my water could break or head could pop out, lol. But so far it hasn't!

EmLouise had to laugh, when I was having contractions the other day I jumped into the shower and after put some tanning lotion on my thighs thinking if they were browner they'd look better and the cellulite would be less noticeable! How vain we are

I'm not so sure that subsequent pregnancies means earlier labours, 2 of my sisters went up to a week past their due dates with both first and second children, crap! Apparently the cervix can soften and dilate within hrs of labour so don't worry too much if at your appointments there's not much happening.

Well I have literally been lurking here my entire pregnancy! This is the perfect time for me to chime in though and I would love to join you guys. I am due May 5th with my 3rd. My first I went over 9 days and had to be induced...only a fingertip dilated. The second had to be induced bc I was sick at 37 weeks and again I was a fingertip dilated! This time I found out that I dilated on y own for the first time at my appt this week ! Only 1 cm and 50% effaced so I know it means nothing but hopefully I get to do it on my own this time!!!! I've been having BH for the longest but a couple of days ago they did get intense after dtd lasted for about 6 hrs very 10 min and then went away. AnywAy...that's my story!
