Newborn clothes???

Not sure how many newborn clothes to get??? What would you recommend?

So far I have:

Vests x 7
Sleepsuits x 3 (although John Lewis newborn size, which is meant to come up quite big)
A cardigan
Socks x 5
Hats x 2
Scratch Mitt x loads!!!
Booties x 2

Do you think I need more?

I'm not getting a lot. She will have five or six homemade dresses and a few pack of onsies. I want to see how she grows as my son is 2.5 and still in 18 month clothes.

Plus it is going to be like 100 deg F and 95 percent humidity. I'll carry a blanket for inside.

More sleepsuits. Next and Marks both have an "up to one month" size which is bigger than the tiny newborn size. But three isn't very many. I'd say six otherwise you'll be doing the washing constantly. And more than one cardigan, perhaps just a lightweight one.
Also since you are going to be having an early summer baby, a sunhat for outdoors.

my babies were both out of newborn pretty quickly which is gutting when you have lots of clothes yourself and have been bought them. I have reigned myself in this time and am concentrating on more 0-3.

If anything maybe just some onesies or baby t-shirts. I wouldn't get too much newborn size. Concentrate more on 0-3
