what did your very first contractions feel like?

WEll I am probably over reacting but I'm excited as had no signs whatsoever yet. I have been,getting tightenings for last couple of hours almost like by belly has been shrink wrapped accompanied by a mild pain or rather discomfort a bit like if you've eaten too much.

I realise this will probably pass but considering I've not even really had braxton hicks so far anything is exciting. Did anyone have contractions that started like this?

Mine were like constant period pains, I didn't notice them come and go and I can't say I ever noticed tightening! They were 15 minutes apart when they were painful enough to notice!

This time I have noticed tightenings but I'm putting them down to braxton hicks although I have got period pains!

mine started out feeling like braxton hicks. when they started getting painful they felt kind of like gas pain. I don't know if the kind of contractions you start with has anything to do with it, but I had a very quick labor. I hope it is the same for you.

Mine also started like braxton hicks, and as they increased they felt like SUPER strong braxton hicks with period pain. The shrink wrap thing is actually pretty accurate!

The ache is so mild and kind of constant but think I'm definitely getting some bh. About time. Would love to think something more could develop soon!

Mine were like period pain kind of achey squeezey feeling but all over bump x
