still here! against the odds

hi girls here is my story.im currently 34 weeks pregnant and never thought i would get this far.i went for a growth scan at 27 weeks due to previous premature birth(26 weeks).the doctor noticed that my cervix was way too short and was funneling.at 27weeks my cervix was measuring 12mm and the funneling was 23mm long.i was admitted to day assessment unit later that day.two days later i had a fetal fibronectin test done which was positive.that meant that i would more likely go into labour within next two weeks.unfortunately it was to late for cervical stitch.i was given steroids to mature babys lungs and stayed in the hospital for another week to see what happens.since there was no signs of labour i was discharged home as there was nothing else the doctors could do.i was told to prepare myself for early labour as there is no chance that i would carry this baby for much longer.but here i am 34 weeks already and feel absolutely great.i couldnt be happier.
