me and OH have the same amount of room on both sides and he did once mention that there was space for the moses basket next to him so i just but the lining basket and ironing board up at his side of the bed and told him its because i like looking out of the window while i do the ironing so no room for baby at that side now

we are devious creatures us women when we need to be maybe you could do the ironing on your OH's side of the bed as well

Do not anger the pregnant female, for she is devious and carries your offspring. My hubby doesn't dare upset me right now, I'm so crabby I might bite him .

hia, i'm not pregnant yet but we have already seemed to discuss this lol, my oh also wants to have baby on his side of the bed (which means my side of the bed so we would swap places) but he said he will wake up with the crying and pass to me for the breastfeeding. we shall see how long it lasts, i'll humour him at first and if he sticks to it - great, i dont have to get out of bed lol xx

Aww...am I the only one that thinks it's really lovely that he wants to have baby on his side of the bed? So sweet. I think you should leave baby at his side of the bed, and you two take it in turns to sleep next to her. Night about.

Does he plan on tending to the baby during the night? If so just let him have her. Believe me that plan will be gone out the window within the week! Being a single dad, I had to do all the night feeds and then go to work in the morning. And it was EXHAUSTING! I can guarantee you he'll give up on that idea.
Congratulations by the way!

It's a nice idea and a nice gesture but will become annoying for the pair of you. I'm going to have baby on our side as I'm BF'ing and OH will need his sleep as he'll be getting up for work so it just makes more sense xoxo
