Tiff...I was going through the exact same thing today! I'm 37 weeks and 2 days. On Tuesday I went to the dr and I am 3cm and 80% effaced. Ive been having a lot of irregular BH as well, but today I started timing them because they hurt worse than normal. They were about 1 min each, 5-8 mins apart. And yesterday my lower back hurt really bad. so, I called the dr. Today, they said I could labor at home for awhile, if it gets a lot worse to come on in. Like you, it hasn't been really bad, so I didnt go in. I did end up leaving work 2 hours early and took a long nap. Since my nap, the contractions have lessened. But I'm still worried, thinking it could be anytime. Hoping he comes within the next couple of days!

How exciting! Hope it movves along for both of us. My back has just now started to hurt but not bad. Just like I've been standing for too long. I'm not going to go in any time soon as I feel fine right now. When it starts hurting or the contractions are closer I will head in. Poor hubby is trying to study for an important test and here I am stressing about labor. Haha. Well not really stressing but I keep updatin him.

Grrr. This is a bit annoying as there's no real progress through the night other than my pubic bone is sore and my back hurts. Bh are still coming pretty regularly surprisingly! Of course this all has to be goin on during a weekend that hubby is away. Looks like I have time to install my car seat and finish packing my bag.

Called my doc to be on the safe side about the bleeding and she had me come to l&d to get checked an monitored. Nurse said about 1-2 cm and 80%. Not much different from last week.

with all this bleeding and bh I though I might've gotten somewhere. Anyways they're monitoring baby and contractions for a bit to see what's going on. I feel like a regular here. 3rd time coming in since I was 28 weeks.

Wow, seems like you are in the same boat as me. I should have gone in yesterday when I left work, but it eased up. Now, I'm wondering if the BH helped. And, I recently heard that some women could.go through a long, slow labor without any strong contractions, just dilating. Im wondering if that's me.

Yay for slow labor... Not. Apparently I have fairly impressive bh contractions. The nurse was a bit surprised that they were Only bh and not painful at all. And all they seem to be doing is maybe effacing me. Not really much else. But she did say my body is "trying" to go into labor but just not quite there yet. Who knows how Lon this'll last.

I'm still jealous... I don't feel any different to a few weeks ago... Had NO bh at all... Hope you get your baby soon!

Great, trying to go into labor. I know I still have a full 2 weeks left (and a few days) but I feel like something is happening, who knows.
