A bit excited/nervous! 37 weeks today and...

Well today I'm 37 weeks so... FULL TERM!!! But I've been dilating and effacing for weeks now. Anyways, I woke up early this morning to let my dog out and hubby was sound asleep but I was feeling a bit frisky so gave him the kind of wake-up that every man dreams about. Anyways it was amazing for both of us. (he's been scared to do it for fear of me going into labor). Lol. Well back to my nervousness: it might've started something but I won't say for sure yet. A few hours after thr deed was done I woke back up and put my dog back outside and went to use the restroom and had quite a bit of old looking blood mixed with my discharge. And my bh that I've had for weeks are strong but not painful and fairly regular. I'm a bit scared as I know I want this baby out now I'm not sure if hubby and I quite have our heads wrapped around te whole idea! Lol.

Sound like you are losing mucus plug! Please update if there is any progress. I am 37+5, cervix still thick and close.

Well, contractions are still coming but not super close. Old blood turned to little spots of red new blood. A bit nervous. Still don't have my hospital bag packed so i might start in that this afternoon. thank God I have a calm hubby. I told him I was bleeding and he said he thought that might happen. Lol. He doesn't seem to worried. Probably won't be until I'm in full blown labor. Which I hope will come soon.

Ok. So now my bh have started to add a bit of pressure to my hips and a bit in my back. Still, nothing is painfull or regular. Grrrr. At least I was able to get out to the mall for a pedicure.

Bh have been anywhere from 7-10 minutes apart. Still not painful (which is why I'm still callin them bh instead of contractions). And lasting between 45 sec to just over a minute. Oh boy. I may be way to calm about this but I still don't have my bag competely packed and am slowly adding to it between eating chocolate and watching news.
