My weight didn't change at all until 12 weeks, then I started to gain 1lb per week, so had gained 12lbs by 24 weeks like you. I am now 32 weeks and have continued to gain at a rate of almost exactly 1lb per week, so am hoping to keep my total gain within 2 stone.

I keep an eye on my weight pretty frequently, so just try to cut back on the naughty stuff if the gain is starting to pick up.

Have the sarnie As my nana says 'A little bit of what you fancy does you good'

I keep hearing about all this weight were supposed to gain but up until 24 weeks I hadn't gained anything. Was only weighed at 12 weeks and then not again until 28 weeks by midwife.

Up until 28 weeks I had gained 8lbs and not sure if I've put any more on. Midwife wasn't concerned though and said I had done well to keep my weight down. I did however have a BMI of 31 at booking in appointment which supposedly means I'm classed as obese. However I'm only a UK size 12 to 14 and 5ft 5 x

By 28 weeks I had gained 7lbs, as of last Friday at 34 weeks I had gained 6lbs so actually had lost 1lb in 6 weeks, I calorie count everyday, and have between 2000-2300 calories a day, I don't do any excercise apart from 20-30 mins walking most days but that is getting less frequent now as I've am so big and my hips and legs are sore,

With my LO I gained nearly 60lbs and didn't want to do that again because I just spent the whole pregnancy eating crap for the sake of it, this time I've eaten my share of crap and always give in to cravings but I just make sure I am not over eating to the point I did with my first pregnancy x

I had only gained 6lb at 24 weeks. By the end of my pregnancy, I had hit 25, most of which I gained between weeks 30 -37. I think most weight gain Happens at the end of the third trimester?

I don't think that's necessarily the case at all! I'm anything but fat but because I still lead an active lifestyle and have a demanding job I'm still being told at 6mo pregnant that I "don't even look pregnant"

At 24 weeks I had only gained 9lbs...and since then I have gained another 12lbs and I'm just over 29 weeks for a total of 21lbs! I found that I started to gain weight like crazy once I hit 25 weeks. It seems to have slowed down a tiny bit the last few days...but I do find I have to be sooooo careful with what I eat now. My last pregnancy I gained close to 60lbs took me just over a year to lose it all. So I have really increased my exercise, and watched what I eat this time. But I think some people just naturally gain more weight than others. Allow yourself a treat once in a while-just don't let it be an everyday thing. You will do fine!

Come to think of it, even though I had a little extra padding before I got pregnant, one of my close friends is even bigger and she gained over 60lbs during her last pregnancy. Maybe it just depends on the person I was eating healthy and tracking everything in the beginning and then I gave up and started eating normal and indulging in a few cravings (cookies for breakfast ).
