Hmmm may have to try sex!

I'll also try employing the 'I won't be going into labour today' thing.

I need to beat 18th April which is now my induction date.

labour dust wishes for all overdue ladies! Xx

With my first I was in early labor for 2 days but had no idea. My belly felt hard on the outside but I felt no tightening or cramping. Everyone convinced me since it was my first, I was going overdue and my body was just getting ready.

So I was in early labor on Saturday & Sunday. Sunday night I went for a long walk (walked about an hour). When I got home I did a ton of squats and took a nice, long, warm shower and tried nipple stimulation (between my fingers and the water hitting them.) I tried more squats and some jumping jacks after the shower. In the middle of the night, my then-oh and I had sex. As soon as he finished and I put my pants back on I was hit with the first real, hard contraction and it progressed into active labor from there. Got to L&D around 8am and found out I was 4cm/100% effaced.

This time around I've been taking RLT capsules since 32 weeks (just upped it to 3 a day) and taking 1 EPO orally since 35 weeks, inserted the 1st one vaginally last night (so I'll be doing 2/day) and bouncing on my ball/squats. Once I hit 37 weeks, we're going to try adding sex and orgasms and lots and lots of walking.

Right. I have just bought Clary Sage oil which I have been instructed to sniff regularly, booked a reflexologist for tomorrow morning and am going to pounce (in a very inelegant fat lady type of way obviously) on OH tonight. I will keep adding extra tabasco to EVERYTHING and going for long walks! Oh, and keep cleaning anything that dares to exist in my presence. I sooooo do not want to be induced!

Best thing to do would be to plan on something to do tomorrow. Make big plans that involve other people and going out of the house and blahblahblah.
Really.
Because Murphy's Law says you'll go into labor. And if you don't, then you've had a good day not worrying about whether you'll go into labor. Plus, being out and about is also a good way to get the LO lower and settled.

I used castor oil and went into labor about an hour later. It never upset my guts either. Ive heard walking, and hooking yourself up to a breast pump are the best ways to bring it on too. Good Luck!

This hasn't worked for me.
I planned to meet a friend for shopping and coffee today... got cancelled on.

I think tomorrow I'm going to buy some clary sage oil, do lots of cleaning and walking, then have a long hot bath.
Tonight I'm having pineapple (on pizza ) and hopefully some sex.
Might even get my OH to massage my feet, reflexology style - If I can stand the tickling!

Haha! I'm ticklish too! I have visions of accidentally kicking reflexologist in the face! Hopefully this won't happen...

Good luck! I'm off to make a spicy dinner and sniff clary sage....

I genuinely don't think anything works and if it does its coincidence.... If curry etc worked you'd be told too avoid it incase it brough on labour. I think babys come when they want too.... And I want mine to want to come now! Xxx
