Less movements now at 38 weeks.... monitoring fine

Am I right to assume that less movements at 38 weeks is normal as baby has less room?
I have been in a few times resently because of it and her heart is always fine!

Still worries me though!

I think that they have their lazy days for sure. Yesterday was one for lily and today she is back to normal sticking every possible part out lol I think you shouldn't really feel a lot less movement, just not as strong ones because there is so much less room.

I still feel her kicks or punches but it's mostly her sticking her knees up or her bum up or her feet out the side, and head down and hands running along the inside of my hips but that's all normal for her.

I think if you are feeling movement and her HR is fine then try not to worry. Not long now!!!

Hiya hun my LO is exactly the same,his movements are soooo much more reduced and ive been and got checked on numerous occasions and hes always been fine im guessig because there so big now they have less roomto manouver about...when i get movement its big movements or tiny little ones...never the big kicks i was used too xxx

There not concerned and I was scanned this morning and baby was fine. Yeah.... No real kicks just kinda pushing bits out lol x

My LO is like this too. Such a worry still, Ill be glad when she is here so I can worry about her in other ways lol

Same here with my LO.. such a difference in movement pattern compared to a few weeks back.
She must be pretty cramped by now as I mainly feel smaller movements and an occasional kick or punch. And she seems to have more of a pattern being quiet during the day, and getting a bit wiggly in the evenings.
