Do they routinely do "sweeps" in th UK?

In uk they normally do it once ur over unless they want to try and induce u earlier.

I had a sweep at 39 weeks with my son as I had pre eclampsia. Didnt work so I was induced day before my due date and he was born by emergency c sec 43 mins into his due date on nye. X

In my area of you're favourable you can have one at your due date appointment. Couldn't have one with DD was too posterior.

I had one at 37+5 this time due to medical reasons. Still here though

I've been having bh off and on since Weds and have been losing small bits of the plug. Just had a strong ache in my back / lower belly and lost a big chunk of plug w/ a small bit of spotting. I am hoping he will stay in there just a couple more days...
