I can never ever ever sleep. Between my chronic pain issue that I have and then the mounting uncomfortable third trimester... lol. My hips are a nightmare. I can't even sleep in bed anymore, I sleep on the couch. I have taken Benadryl a few times out of desperation as well. I have tried Melatonin and Unisom and Tylenol PM to no avail. Last week I had a stint where I was awake for 6 days straight. It was not pretty. Wound up in the ER crying and half hallucinating. They went ahead and gave me something which knocked me out in less than a minute. Thank God.

I also want to strangle my husband in the middle of the night. He is a sleep talker/moaner too. So I know that he is having a good dream, or is really comfortable, and I think about hammer punching him in the jewels.

Well, I am up again at 2am. The kitten apparently stole the dog's bed from him (he is a 100lb great dane mix) and he woke me up wandering the house pathetically searching for another place to sleep.

I wish I'd came on here last night for some company! Another restless night, agonising hip pains, a million toilet breaks, and my head full of things I've still to get, and what to name baby now I know for cert It's a boy!

ahahahaahahaha....... made me chuckle out loud! i feel your pain, my dh has developed a snore during my pregnancy which is sending me squint

i can usually sleep for about 2hrs max before i have to get up, either to pee or because of nausea or acid indigestion.... urgh it sucks so badly - i usually have to have some milk or gaviscon then i usually read for an hr or so before going back to bed. have been on annual leave from work this wk, but go back tomorrow

Almost 3.30am here and I've been awake for a while - bloody heartburn woke me up, plus needing the loo.
Also, I can't wait to be able to sleep on my stomach again! I have to sleep on my right hand side or I'll be facing the husband and his breathing keeps me awake, but I keep waking up with a really sore right ear, on top of the hip pain, bump aches and heartburn, grrr.
I'm going to try and sleep a bit more, but all I can think about is the jobs I still need to go to finish the nursery, want to go and get on with it now but know I'll be heachachey and grumpy from lack of sleep tomorrow.

Once again, it's 5.30am and I'm wide awake!! Went to bed feeling incredibly sore, finally got some sleep then had to pee 45mins ago, can't get comfy at all. I've tried every position I could and nothing bubzy is happily kicking away though! Meeh may as well watch my favourite infomercial, not getting any sleep any time soon U_U

I got another 2 hours sleep but then my husbands alarm went off, so that's me awake now too.
I dreamt my Mothercare furniture (still in boxes in garage) was the wrong colour so am going to have to check its ok later too or I may never sleep again!

Since I started this thread, I have slept really well haha. Now I have said this, I will prob be up all night tonight!

I think I know my problem, it is when I have a nap early evening, I need to fight it then I sleep through the night.

Hope everyone else manages to get some sleep soon.

3:11 am here... WIDE awake. LO is kicking away... surprisingly I feel really good right now. Why it has to be at 3 am, the world may never know. Why can't I feel this awesome during the day.

I did expect to be up all night though, I ended up with a nap during the day today. Slept from 10 until 1:30. I am definitely looking forward to being able to sleep on my stomach again. I cannot lay on my left side, even though I know its best. My kidney on that side is swollen four times its normal size, so laying on it is impossible. I have to lay on my right side all the time and then my hip KILLS.

Hoping you other ladies are getting some rest, or did get some rest. Happy Baby Cooking.
