I'm right there with you. Well I'm over a week behind but two weeks ago I was told it could be early slow labor and it could last for weeks or days. Then just yesterday I went in to get check again as I was having some spitting and the nurse said it differently. She said it was my body trying to go into actual labor but not quite there yet. But looks like it could be any day or next week. Now we wait.

Everyone still waiting? I'm timing contractions although they are very mild and inconsistent timewise... my belly is tight and hard like a basketball tonight & my whole back is tense.

I've been in slow labor for three weeks now. It SUCKS. I had my bloody show, 2cm dilated, not sure about effacement. Thought yesterday was it with contractions coming 3 minutes apart for 8 HOURS and lasting a minute and a half... but then after 8 hours it stopped. I am getting really tired of this. I want a natural birth, a homebirth, so an induction isn't an option unless the contractions keep doing this and I go to 42 weeks.

I'm also the same. Been in slow labour for couple of weeks. Currently 10 days overdue. If hospital had its way I'd be induced on tues but I think I'm going to ask to be monitored for a couple of days first. I'm at least 1cm dilated and practically fully effaced so things are happening-why interfere and make it happen sooner?

Such a test of my patience though!

The doctor told me last week that he'd be most likely checking me for dilation at my next appointment (which is tomorrow). I am really hoping that all of this discomfort, lack of sleep and continued wondering "is this it yet?" is going to have some results. If he tells me I'm not dilated at all, I might kick someone in the shins.

Yep, still going
Today I began getting much stronger contractions, much closer together but now they've spread apart again. My waters miiight be going, I am waiting to see if any leaking continues or if it's just an overfull bladder

I'm also in slow labour. I'm 40 + 9 today. Actually can't believe I'm so overdue. Had a show yesterday morning and from then on period pains and then on and off contractions started. By last night contractions were regular and 10 mins apart. Couldn't sleep at first but then i must have dosed off and now contractions have gone. Gutted! Still got period pains though. I wonder when she'll make an appearance and whether it wilt be before Saturday when I'll be induced. Really do not want to be induced.

I was a bit like this with DS and I ended up refusing to leave the hospital because after 48 hours I still hadn't dilated anymore but I was having strong painful irregular contractions in my back (back to back labour) and paracetamol & baths weren't helping at all. I couldn't even sit. I had to have pitocin to help speed things up a bit & had my waters broke. He was born nearly 3 days after my first contraction.

Hope this is it x
