KIDDISAVE have been absolutely appauling. They take payment for goods they don't have, send you faulty/ used items, say they are going to send you another then don't. Their staff are terrible too and take ages to get back to you if at all. I am now left with part of a travel system and can't get the rest until after baby will be born as it's out of stock everywhere. I am disgusted with the service and waiting to hear if I can get a refund on other items I bought from them.
I'm having the same problem with kiddisave atm! My bedding turned up covered in dirty marks and blatantly used. When I paid, I paid for the 6piece set which was in stock and expected delivery in 3 days. I phoned up 2 weeks later and got sent the 4 piece set out. They now say they'll send me the rest of the set in May when it's back in stock. AFTER lo is here! took me days to get through to them too. If anyone on here reads this be sure not to use kiddisave. Total waste of time and money.

I'm also now put off of mothercare. Hope you get your refund. I think its terrible how shoddy the service is from companies who know they are delivering to pregnant people, it's like they have lower standards because they think we'll be too busy with our babies to complain.

I've had a really bad experience with mothercare right from the start too, firstly they didn't deliver on the scheduled date they brought it 2 days early, we were out and my 75 year old neighbour took in the stuff (11 pretty heavy boxes) then when we started putting stuff up the cot was damaged and the wardrobe was different to what we chose, we spent ages on the phone to customer services to be told there was no other wardrobe in stock to match the set we bought and we had to pack the old cot up and they'd send another. The pram we ordered was half missing and it was painful trying to get that sorted out, I was called a liar by a member of staff as it wasn't on baby plan receipt but she wouldn't listen that I bought that separate and to look on system for a later purchase. The bedding we bought was faulty. Gosh I could go on for hours how crap there service and products have been...

We have had problems with Mothercare too- ordered something to be picked up in store but it never arrived. When we went, they had it in stock on the shelf but couldn't give us that one because we had ordered it online. Then, when it arrived, it kept arriving! We collected it and they rang us about three times after that to say it had just arrived...I think their delivery service needs a complete overhaul, no wonder they're in financial crisis! We could easily have picked it up four times!

So sorry you're experiencing problems - so frustrating when you've paid your money and service is crap. Just to echo a pp though, kiddicare are absolutely brilliant in my experience. Would wholeheartedly recommend them if you need anything further.

Hope it all gets sorted for you

sounds similar to my poor experience with Mothercare!!

We ordered our pram specifically to be delivered on a Saturday in November. Waited in all day...no pram. I had a massive go at them on the following Monday and they apologised and said that they will deliver it the following saturday and waver the delivery cost. I was a bit annoyed but said ok anyway.

So, the day after (Tuesday) they delivered the pram and because I wasn't in, they delivered it next door!! I was fuming but I waited until Saturday to see what would happen and they delivered one on saturday too!! (they both said saturday delivery on the box).

Anyway, I was angry but waited 3 months and they didn't even realise what they did, so in anger I sold the 2nd one on ebay for £151!!

You've got me worried now!
I ordered a cotbed and changing unit from Mothercare on good friday. I got free next day delivery, which the site said would be the following wednesday because of the bank holidays. I then got a text on the tuesday saying I was getting a delivery that morning. Luckily I had no plans and could be there, and half the stuff turned up. I then waited in the next day, but no delivery, and the rest of the stuff turned up on the thursday, luckily just before I needed to go out. I then got a text at 1.15pm saying I would be getting a delivery between 7am and 1pm that day - helpful!
I haven't had the space to build it up yet, so it's still in boxes in the garage, am going to build it at the weekend. But thanks to this thread I dreamt it was damaged and the wrong colour last night, so will be opening the boxes later to check!

I've ordered a few things from Mothercare and Kiddicare and had no problems from
either.

I suppose when they have so many orders in such a big company then a few are bound to get messed up, just a shame it happens though.

Hope you all get your stuff sorted out x
