stood up to idiot with idiot comment

I've got to the point in my pregnancy where im fed up of idiots making stupid remarks and comments that ive just decided they will be getting a remark or answer back they dont like...see how they like it!

Someone said to me today how many kids you got now? (like having your third is 10 or something) and i replied how many brain cells have you got now?

and from now on peeps better be prepaired for answers they dont like if they are stupid enough to make stupid annoying comments.

any other good answers you have said back to idiots?

I wish i had the 'balls' to say something like that. I keep getting fed up of the 'How long have you got left now' comment, especially from shop assistants or complete strangers. My mum said i should say 5 months and see what their reaction is. She also said that i should say it was a growth and not actually pregnancy.

I've heard stories of ladies giving blank stares and saying "I'm not pregnant." I'd love to see a reaction to that

i had a strange touch my bump so i touched her bum and when she looked at me in horror i just commented that i thought it must be "invade a strangers personal space day" she had the cheek to call ME rude and walked off.

why do people think its ok to touch body parts they wouldnt normally just because you are carrying a baby??? i mean come on i dont see anyone touching my OH's balls asking when his son is due and they had as much a role to play as my uterus does

sorry rant over touched a nerve with this thread

I'm SICK of being asked if its twins, or "gosh, your huge"

Why do people think its acceptable to comment on the size of a Woman just because she's pregnant? They wouldn't do it any other time??

Anyway, a complete stranger started commenting the other day while I was food shopping, so I looked at her and said "I'm not pregnant"

She looked absolutely MORTIFIED!!! HAHAHA!!!

My oh thinks it was a bit harsh but I bet my arse she never comments on the enormity of a pregnant woman any time soon!!!

I told hubby if anyone touched me without permission, I would rub their belly back. He doesn't get why though. Lol. Luckily I've avoided that this whole pregnancy.

But I do get odd comments when asked when I'm due and if I say 3 weeks or whatever, people of course have to ask if it's my first then ask how many I'm carrying... Um I'm due in three weeks and could pass for being 6-7 months pregnant cuz I'm pretty small. How do they expect more than one to be in there?

someone said to me the other day 'wow you really are carrying all in the front' i replied 'well theres a relief, i think id be in trouble if i was carrying her in my back' she just looked at me like id just offended her mother, so i walked away.

the comments some people come out with when they talk to a pregnant woman really rub me up the wrong way sometimes, even though im sure deep down they mean no harm!

My mil and I don't get on, so I'm a bit more harsh than usual with her. But last time she used to walk past me and *POKE* my bump, and say "aw you're getting so big!!"

So I done it right back to her..... She was not amused

Even better when my eldest told her (after overhearing me saying it) "Mum said if you poke her tummy again you're gonna be withdrawing a bloody stump..."

I have no shame, I'll backchat people right back

Lol I love it!!!! Iv never said anything like that but I was sick of people saying 'your going.to have your hands full' as this is my third child but between me and oh we will have four kids, so I reply with 'id rather have my hands full than empty' which is nice, true and to the point lol x
