Haha, there's no way I'm measuring any body part of mine right now! I think I'd just cry 40 inches doesn't sound that big to me though.

Well I haven't measured Myself around this whole pregnancy and today I am 39" at 37+2. I feel like that may be my max since I've hardly grown as far as my fh measurements in a few weeks.

so a lot of you who are less than 5'6" are measuring bigger around - which makes sense.. because of those us who are a little taller than average have my room so we don't grow as far "outwards" I guess?

I'm 5'7 and I carry completely out front...can't even tell I'm pregnant from behind...so I think it just depends on body type etc. I was the same when I was pregnant with my son

I have a big, high, out-front belly too.. I was just saying when you're short, the only way baby and your uterus can grow is out.. whereas if you're taller/bigger, there's more room in your abdomen.

I definitely agree with this. Baby is already beginning to run out of room...only place to go is out at this point I guess haha

I feel your pain....have already gained 24 lbs but have made very significant changes in my diet...even though I wasn't eating horribly before am doing better now and making sure to get some sort of exercise everyday. So I am really, really trying not to worry about it even though I had hoped at the beginning to only have gained 25 lbs in all. Well...that is out now lol by your picture, it really doesn't look like you have gained that much...it must all be baby!
